Writers' Tears Marsala Cask Finish is a blended Irish whisky in a 70cl bottle, finished in casks that previously held sweet Marsala wine. It was released in early 2019 by Walsh Whiskey.
The Marsala treatment had already been tried on part of The Irishman range two years earlier. Its reception there led to the same finish being offered to followers of the Writers' Tears Copper Pot whiskey.
