Yamazaki – 12 Year Old Single Malt 100th Anniversary Edition (70cl, 43%)

This is Yamazaki 12 Year Old in a special edition marking the centenary of Suntory Whisky. Yamazaki is Japan's first malt whisky distillery, founded in 1923 by Suntory's founder Shinjiro Torii. The whisky is a selection of malts, each aged for a minimum of 12 years in cask. The bottle design uses deep copper tones as a tribute to the distillery. It is pure gold in colour. The nose has peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove-spiced candied orange, vanilla and Mizunara. The palate leads with coconut, cranberry and creamy butter, and the finish is sweet ginger and cinnamon.
