A 12 year old limited-edition Japanese single malt from Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, in a 66cl bottle at 43% ABV.
This Founder's Choice bottling was made specially for Miki Watanabe, founder of the Japanese restaurant chain Watami. The whisky matured for 12 years, mainly in sherry casks.
Yamazaki was established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii as Japan's first malt whisky distillery, and production began there in 1924.
