A 12 year old single malt from the Yamazaki distillery, in a limited edition marking the 100th anniversary of Suntory and of the Japanese whisky industry. Yamazaki 12 Year Old first reached the market in 1984 and was the first Japanese single malt to be marketed seriously. Suntory itself dates to 1899, when Torii Shinjiro opened a small shop selling imported wines, and it is now the largest whisky producer in Japan.
