Yamazaki – 18 Year Old Limited Edition (70cl)

Yamazaki 18 is a Japanese single malt whisky from the Yamazaki Distillery, which is described as Japan's oldest malt distillery. This limited edition comes in a 70cl bottle, inside a bamboo wooden box. The whisky is distilled in copper pot stills and matured for 18 years in a combination of American, Spanish and Japanese oak casks. The nose brings dried fruits, dark chocolate and a hint of smoky oak. On the palate there are rich sherry notes, dried berries and a touch of spice, with a velvety texture. The finish is long, with dark chocolate and a subtle smokiness.
