This is Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara, a single malt made as a limited anniversary edition and sold in a 70cl bottle. It was created to mark the centenary of Suntory Whisky.
It is a vatting of carefully chosen malt whiskies, each aged for at least 18 years in Mizunara casks alone.
Mizunara oak is rare and regarded as the signature influence on Yamazaki, giving the whisky a distinctly Japanese character and elegance.
