Yamazaki 2017 Limited Edition is a Japanese whisky from Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, Japan's oldest malt distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of malt whiskies matured in a selection of casks, often including Mizunara, American and Spanish oak, put together for the 2017 release.
The nose is dried fruit, notably apricot and fig, with sandalwood and a little ginger spice. The palate brings sweet vanilla, ripe peach and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long, with gentle warmth, Mizunara incense and a hint of dark chocolate.
