This is the 2022 Limited Edition release of Yamazaki, a Japanese single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Only 1,000 bottles were made worldwide.
It follows the Yamazaki Limited Edition bottlings of 2014 to 2017, which were annual releases built around aged Yamazaki whisky.
The nose offers fruit, subtle spice and a hint of oak. On the palate there is sweet vanilla, ripe fruit and delicate spice, with a touch of smoke. The flavours fade slowly in the finish.
