Yamazaki – 25 Year Old Japanese Single Malt (2021 onwards) (70cl, 40%)

This is Yamazaki 25 Year Old, a Japanese single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is the version from 2021 onwards. The whisky has a mahogany colour and is described as deep and complex, with dried fruit and a succulent softness of soft fruit. On the nose it offers dried cherry, currant, tomato puree, balsamic and walnut. The palate brings marmalade, coffee, cocoa and almond, and the finish is profound with a hint of acidity.
