Yamazaki Sherry Cask is a Japanese single malt, bottled in 2013 at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The release was limited to 18,000 bottles.
It was matured in sherry casks and carries no age statement.
The nose is typically described as rich and complex, with sherry, dried fruits and berries, soft caramelised sugar and a touch of coffee and cherry liqueur. The palate is creamy and soft, with spice, orange and medium sweetness, and the finish runs medium to long, sherried and oaky.
