Yamazakura Asaka & 4 World Blended Whisky (70cl, 47%)

A world blended whisky from Sasanokawa Shuzo, in a 70cl bottle at 47% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The key malt comes from the Asaka Distillery in Japan, combined with whiskies from four other distilleries in Scotland, Ireland, the USA and Canada. It won gold in the International Blended category at the World Whiskies Awards 2025, and silver at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition 2025. The nose carries a hint of maple syrup and floral notes. The palate is rich malt with cereal notes and a hint of spice, followed by a subtle smoky aftertaste.
