This is a single malt from the Asaka Distillery, part of the Yamazakura range from Sasanokawa Sake Brewery. It marries the whisky from two ex-bourbon barrels, numbers 17128 and 17130.
The spirit was distilled in 2017 and matured for around five years before it was bottled in 2022. The release is limited to 475 bottles. It is described as bringing sweet, fruity and spicy notes.
