A 5 year old single cask single malt from the Asaka Distillery, owned by Sasanokawa Shuzo, in Japan. It was bottled for Takashimaya, the Japanese department store, as its Buyers Selection.
The whisky matured in a first fill American bourbon barrel and is bottled at natural cask strength, 62% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
A total of 215 bottles were released in 2023.
