Yellow Rose Rye Whiskey (70cl, 45%)

Yellow Rose Rye Whiskey comes from Yellow Rose Distilling in Houston, Texas, and is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 95% rye, with what is believed to be 5% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged in oak barrels. The high rye content gives a profile of green herbs and tropical fruit. The nose is honey, vanilla, toasted oak and white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied and slightly dry, with pepper, tropical fruit and green herbs. The finish is warm and medium in length, with oak, grape and black pepper.
