Yellow Spot is a 12 year old single pot still Irish whiskey from The Spot Collection, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its character leans towards juicy red apples, and it includes whiskey fully matured in ex-Malaga casks.
The nose is of mown hay and cracked black pepper, with red bell pepper, nutmeg, clove oil and green tea, plus honey and peaches from the Malaga casks. On the palate there is honey sweetness and pot still spice, with fresh coffee, milk chocolate, crème brûlée, red apples and toasted oak. The finish stays sweet, ending on red grape and dry barley.
