Yellow Spot 12 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery, bonded for Mitchell and Son of Dublin. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey is matured for 12 years in three kinds of cask: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and Spanish Malaga casks. It was re-released after an old bottle of Yellow Spot was found in the Little Museum of Dublin. The nose has mown hay, black pepper, nutmeg, green tea, honey and peaches. The palate brings honey, pot still spice, coffee, milk chocolate, creme brulee and red apples. The finish is sweet, with red grape and dry barley.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
