Yellow Spot is a 12 year old single pot still Irish whiskey, bottled at 46% in a 700ml bottle. It includes fully matured whiskey from ex-Malaga casks, which adds an exotic note to the character.
The nose combines mown hay, cracked black pepper, nutmeg, clove oil and green tea with honey and peach from the Malaga casks. The palate brings honey sweetness, pot still spice, fresh coffee, milk chocolate, crème brûlée, red apple and toasted oak. The finish stays sweet, ending on red grape and dry barley.
