Yoichi Peaty & Salty is a Japanese single malt in a 50cl bottle, made at the Yoichi distillery on the coast of Hokkaido, in the north of Japan. The name describes the style: peat smoke with a briny, sea-air edge. That is an unusual profile among Japanese malts, most of which take a gentler direction, and it sits closer to the smoky malts that peat drinkers already look for.
