Yushan Sherry Cask is a whisky from Nantou Distillery in Taiwan, bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It is matured in sherry casks.
On the nose there is juicy citrus, chestnut, a touch of Turkish delight and buttery malt. The palate begins chocolatey before orange peel and floral barley come forward, with rum-soaked raisins and a gentle warmth of ginger.
The finish carries lingering oak spice and a hint of mince pie filling.
