Yushan Sherry Cask is a four-year-old single malt from Nantou Distillery in Taiwan, bottled at 50% in a 50cl bottle.
It was matured for four years in sherry casks and shows a deep amber colour with rusty tints.
On the nose are dried fruit such as dates and figs, with honey, vanilla, dark chocolate and light spice. The palate pairs malt sweetness with dried fruit and a faint note of tobacco and leather. The finish is long and warm.
