Yushan Peated Single Malt is a 4 year old whisky from the Nantou Distillery in Taiwan, in a 50cl bottle supplied in a box. It is named after the highest mountain in Taiwan, and is made from peated malt.
The nose brings wood smoke, dried fruit and a light touch of exotic spice. On the palate the peat is woven with vanilla, caramel and a hint of citrus. The finish is long and smoky, with a slight minerality.
