Yushan Blended Malt comes from Nantou Distillery in Taiwan and is named after the island's highest mountain. It is a blended malt matured in oak barrels, presented boxed in a 50cl bottle. The nose opens with ripe apples and pears, blended with honey and vanilla, before cinnamon and pepper bring a spicier note. On the palate it is soft and harmonious, moving from an initial sweetness to a warming feel. The finish is long and spicy, with a light smoky touch.
