Zì Ronda Valpolicella Ripasso DOC

A red wine from the Valpolicella area of Veneto, produced by Zì Ronda. It is made mainly from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, using the ripasso technique of refermenting base Valpolicella on Amarone pomace. It has an intense, bright ruby red colour. The nose offers ripe cherry, dried plum, black pepper and tobacco, with vanilla and cocoa notes from wood ageing. On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety and balanced, with soft tannins, pleasant acidity and a long, enveloping finish. It is suggested with robust dishes such as roasts, stews, game and aged cheeses.
