A red wine from Zironda, made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara using the ripasso method, with the wine passed over Amarone pomace after initial steel ageing. It is intense ruby red, tending to garnet with age. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, with vanilla, cinnamon and a light touch of cocoa. The palate is full and enveloping, with soft, well-integrated tannins and pleasant acidity, and the finish is long with a slightly bitter note.
