1776 Straight Rye Whiskey 100 Proof (70cl, 50%)

1776 Straight Rye Whiskey is made by James E Pepper Distilling in Lexington, Kentucky. It is bottled at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, and is non-chill-filtered. More than 90% rye goes into the fermentation. The whiskey is described as complex and full of flavour, with touches of mint, clove, eucalyptus, chocolate and honey. It can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails such as an Old Fashioned.
