1792 225th Anniversary Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, released as a small batch to mark the 225th anniversary of Kentucky statehood. The distillery takes its name from 1792, the year Kentucky became a state, so the anniversary edition is a tribute to the same date. The bourbon is hand-selected and comes in a 750ml bottle. On the nose there is rich caramel and vanilla with warm oak. The palate is rich and sweet with oaky depth, bringing caramel, brown sugar and grain spice. The finish is long and warm, with that spice lingering.
