1792 Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

1792 Straight Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl-sized 750ml bottle. It is made from a proprietary rye mash bill using globally sourced rye grain, and builds on the brand's high-rye approach. The character leans on baking spice, seasoned oak and rye grain. On the nose there is rye spice, oak and a little warmth. The palate brings firm rye grain and seasoned wood with balanced spice, and the finish is smooth and lingering.
