A.D. Rattray Cask Islay Classic (46%)

Cask Islay Classic is a single malt bottled by the independent bottler A.D. Rattray, taken from an undisclosed Islay distillery. It is bottled at 46% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour. The spirit was distilled twice in copper pot stills and matured in ex-bourbon casks, which give the heavily peated spirit a rounder, more approachable shape. It is described as having strong peat smoke and fresh citrus, with maritime depth and a hint of creamy toffee.
