Aberfeldy 15 Year Old Bolgheri Red Wine Cask Finish is a limited-edition Highland single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. After 15 years of maturation, the whisky is finished in red wine casks from Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast. These add dark fruit, chocolate and fine tannins to the soft, malty and honeyed Aberfeldy style. The nose combines ripe cherries and dark plums with golden honey. The palate brings chocolate, vanilla, nutmeg and fine tannins, and the finish keeps spicy oak and dark blackberry.
