Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2015 as part of The Last Great Malts series.
The whisky was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose opens with raisins and cinnamon, moving on to butterscotch, caramel and apple slice, with a hint of floral malt. The palate is well rounded and mellow, with apple at first, then clementine segments and honey on toast, and a spark of ginger.
