Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for 16 years in a combination of oak casks, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is known for the honeyed character associated with the distillery.
The nose offers heather honey, dried fruits, vanilla, citrus peel and gentle oak spice. On the palate come caramel, toffee, orchard fruits and dark chocolate, with cinnamon, nutmeg and toasted oak. The texture is velvety and the finish long and warming, with lingering honey sweetness and delicate spice.
