Aberfeldy – 25 Year Old 125th Anniversary Release (46%)

Aberfeldy 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled for the distillery's 125th anniversary, at 46% ABV. Aberfeldy stands on the banks of the River Tay and has made single malt since 1898. The whisky spent more than two decades in refill hogsheads and refill butts, then over a year in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The nose offers Highland honey, wild strawberries and ripe peaches, building to cocoa powder, creamy caramel and cinnamon. On the palate, delicate fruit sits on a malty, cereal base with a hint of vanilla coffee, followed by a long finish.
