Aerolite Lyndsay is a ten-year-old Islay single malt from The Character of Islay Whisky Company. It matured in a combination of bourbon casks and sherry quarter casks, and it is bottled at 46% ABV. The name is an anagram of 'ten year old Islay'.
The nose is fresh and maritime, with vanilla, chocolate, a fine note of smoke and a hint of citrus. The palate is full-bodied and oily, with sweet barley, honey, smoked fruit, salt and ash. The finish is medium in length and dry, with fine smoke and a touch of ash.
