Akashi Blue Blended

Akashi Blue Blended is a Japanese blended whisky made at the Eigashima Shuzo White Oak Distillery. It is matured in shochu-seasoned American white oak casks, then finished in sherry and bourbon casks. The distillery's smaller copper pot stills produce a lighter, more delicate spirit, and sake-making techniques are built into production under the guidance of a Toji, a master of traditional sake brewing. Expect gentle vanilla, soft oak, dried fruit and a little sweetness, ending in a clean, elegant finish.
