Akashi White Oak (50cl, 46%)

Akashi White Oak is a Japanese blended whisky made from both single malt and single grain whiskies, with no age statement. It is bottled at 46% in a 50cl bottle. The whisky was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The nose is malty and citrusy, with black cherry, toffee and oak. Vanilla and pine nuts lead the palate, followed by a long, malty finish.
