Akashi White Oak is a Japanese blended whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It combines single malt and single grain whiskies and carries no age statement.
The whisky is aged in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose is malty and citrusy, with black cherry, toffee and oak. Vanilla and pine nuts come through on the palate, leading to a long, malty finish.
