Akashi White Oak Toji Whisky (70cl)

Akashi White Oak Toji is a Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is made by a Toji, a grand master of sake making, who brings sake-making methods into whisky production. The pot still used is smaller than those at Scottish and other Japanese distilleries, which lowers the levels of fusel alcohol. The whisky therefore does not need as long an ageing process. Pepper and vanilla on the nose are followed by a palate of honey, chocolate, oak and dried fruits.
