Alberta Premium is a Canadian rye whisky from Alberta Distillers Limited, in a 1.14 litre bottle. Prairie rye and careful barrel ageing give it a golden amber colour.
The nose is sweet and aromatic, with banana, toffee and light spice. The palate is mellow and slightly smoky, medium in weight with a lively woody edge, and it finishes with a hint of hot cinnamon spice.
