Alberta Premium Cask Strength 10 Year Old is a Canadian rye whisky from Calgary, bottled at full strength in a 75cl bottle. This is the 2025 release, made from 100% prairie rye.
The nose has warm caramel and vanilla with toasted oak, wild honey, ripe apple and apricot, alongside white pepper, tobacco leaf, lilac and mint. On the palate come butterscotch, dark chocolate, candied apple and stewed plums, balanced by the heat of the rye grain. The finish is long, with cinnamon bark, leather, oak tannin and a lift of citrus peel.
