Amahagan is a Japanese blended malt series built around the art of blending. This edition is based on Edition No.1 and is matured in red wine wood. It is bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. Raisin and berry flavours from the red wine sit alongside the malty character of Nagahama. On the palate the sweetness of the grain spreads through, held together by a moderate astringency. The finish brings a refreshing note of orange peel.
