Amahagan World Blended Whisky Summer Edition 2016 is a Japanese blend bottled at 47% in a 75cl bottle. It brings together malt whiskies from around the world and marries them with spirit made at the Nagahama distillery. The colour is light gold. Sea breeze and brine lead the nose, with salt caramel and brown sugar, and a peated smokiness that lifts the whole. The palate is gentle and malty with a cereal note, showing vanilla, honey, white chocolate and baked lemon pie, then a gradual salty edge like salted chocolate. The finish brings pepper and cacao, with peat smoke filling the mouth.
