Amahagan World Malt Whisky Winter Edition (70cl, 47%)

This is a world blended malt whisky, the Winter Edition from Amahagan, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is limited to 6000 bottles. It combines a peated malt distilled at Nagahama Distillery with peated malt whisky imported from other countries and regions. The colour is amber, likened to the moon in a winter night sky. The nose is peaty and sweet, with woodsmoke from a fireside and tropical fruit such as pineapple and passion fruit. The palate is very smooth, with vanilla, raisin and honey sweetness, then salty nuttiness and a strong malt flavour. The finish is long, with soft peat smoke.
