American Freedom Distillery – Horse Soldier Premium Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 43.5%)

Horse Soldier is a straight bourbon from American Freedom Distillery, bottled at 87 proof in a 75cl bottle. It is made in small batches from whiskey aged between two and four years, with a mash bill of 65% corn, 30% rye and 5% barley. It is non-chill filtered, and made without additives or artificial colours. The nose brings caramel, toasted corn, oak, cinnamon and dark fruit. On the palate there is oak, vanilla, nutmeg, mild black pepper and a little honey, with a medium body and a warm, spicy feel.
