Amrut 6 Year Old (2020/2026) 1st Fill Peated Port Pipe – Best Dram (70cl, 58.2%)

This is a six-year-old single cask single malt from Amrut in Bangalore, India, bottled by Best Dram at a cask strength of 58.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 303 bottles were filled. The spirit was distilled from peated barley in February 2020 and matured until August 2026 in a first-fill Port pipe. It is unfiltered and of natural colour. Tasting notes describe ashy smoke over ripe plums and raisins on the nose. The palate has smoke, dark chocolate, pepper and clove. The finish is long, with dry smoke and cocoa.
