This is a 6 year old Indian single malt from Amrut, bottled by Best Dram at cask strength, 58.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The spirit was distilled in February 2020 and matured in a first-fill peated port pipe, then bottled in August 2026. The single cask gave 303 bottles.
The nose has a marked veil of smoke over ripe plums and sweet raisins, with dark chocolate and fine liquorice spice. On the palate intense smokiness comes with dark chocolate sweetness, pepper and clove, and a restrained wood note gives structure. The finish is long, with dry smoke and bitter cocoa.
