Amrut Bagheera is an Indian single malt whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It is made from malted barley, 99% unpeated and 1% peated. The nose pairs salted caramel with dark chocolate, with dried fruit and an underlying oak tone. A hint of sandalwood appears, and it turns floral with time. The palate is fruity with floral tones and a very oily texture. The middle is creamy, and sandalwood and wood phenols show, held in check by an underlying peat note. The finish is sweet, with a dry peat note.
