Amrut – Bagheera (50cl)

Amrut Bagheera is an Indian single malt made from the distillery's peated Indian barley spirit and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is sold in a 50cl bottle. The name comes from Bagheera, the black panther in Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, chosen for the whisky's darker, more intense character. Indian maturation conditions combined with the sherry influence give it a profile that differs from traditional European single malts. The sherry finish brings dried fruit, dark chocolate and rich sweetness, set against a gentle smoke, with fruit, oak and spice in balance.
