This is Amrut Double Cask from India, made from unpeated malt and bottled in August 2016 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a light amber colour.
Two casks went into this bottling: an ex-bourbon cask dated June 2009 and a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask dated May 2010.
The nose offers black fruit, honey sweetness, vanilla, butterscotch and dark chocolate. The palate is full and soft, with vanilla, dark chocolate and a range of spices, and the finish is long and powerful.
