Amrut Double Cask is an Indian single malt whisky, made from malted barley and matured in two different cask types. This is the 3rd Edition, in a 70cl bottle, and it is a limited release.
The nose brings honey, dried fruits, vanilla and toasted oak, with hints of spice and dark caramel. On the palate there is toffee, raisin, baking spices and citrus peel, alongside subtle oak and malt sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering fruit and gentle spice.
