Amrut – Fusion (70cl, 50%)

Amrut Fusion is an Indian whisky bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from both Scottish and Indian barley. Amrut traces its roots to 1948, just after British colonial rule ended and Indians began distilling their own whisky. The distillery stands high above sea level in Bangalore, where tropical conditions mean the spirit matures roughly three to four times faster than in Scotland. Fusion is described as showing exotic fruit aromas alongside light smoke.
